Getting started

What is DividendsIQ?

DividendsIQ is a research and portfolio platform built specifically for dividend investors. It scores 20,000+ stocks across the US, Euronext, and TASE on three dimensions — dividend quality, technical momentum, and risk — then layers AI tools on top so you can find ideas in plain English and get instant analyst-style reports.

How is it different from Yahoo Finance, Seeking Alpha, or Simply Safe Dividends?

Free sites like Yahoo show you yield, price, and basic fundamentals — fine for a quick look, but you still have to do all the cross-referencing yourself. Subscription sites publish opinion content. Institutional terminals are out of reach for individuals.

DividendsIQ sits in the middle: rigorous proprietary data, multi-market coverage, native AI integration, and a price point designed for individual investors. We don't sell stock picks — we give you the tools to find your own.

Do I need an account to try it?

Yes — registration is free and takes under a minute (email + 4-digit verification code). No credit card required. You'll get full access to scores, filters, portfolio, watchlists, and the dividend calendar immediately.

Which devices does it work on?

Any modern browser on desktop, tablet, or phone. The app is fully responsive — same features everywhere, optimized for the screen size.

Scores & data

What are DScore, TScore, and RScore?

Three proprietary scores, each measuring a different dimension:

  • DScore — Dividend quality: stability, consistency, and growth of the dividend over time (0–100, higher is better).
  • TScore — Technical momentum: long-term price trends and momentum vs. the market (0–100, higher is better).
  • RScore — Risk: financial health, leverage, and vulnerabilities that could threaten payouts (1–5, lower is better).

Looking at all three together gives you a one-glance picture of whether a stock deserves deeper research.

Are the scores buy/sell recommendations?

No. They are diagnostic — they describe the company's current dividend, momentum, and risk profile. A high DScore means the company has paid a strong, growing dividend; it does not mean "buy now." We give you the data; investment decisions are yours.

How often is the data updated?

Different data types refresh on different schedules. Here's exactly what to expect:

  • Prices & yields — once a day (end-of-day close).
  • Dividend announcements — once a week.
  • Scoring data (DScore / TScore / RScore) — recomputed once a week.
  • Financial statements (annual & quarterly) — within one week of publication.
  • Smart Alerts — evaluated daily.

DividendsIQ is built for dividend investors, not day traders — the cadence above is a deliberate match for how dividend research and decisions actually work.

Where does your data come from?

We aggregate from multiple licensed financial data providers and exchange feeds, then run our own scoring algorithms on top. Raw price/dividend history is sourced; scores are proprietary.

Markets & coverage

Which markets do you cover?

Three markets today:

  • US — NYSE & NASDAQ (USD)
  • Euronext — Amsterdam, Brussels, Lisbon, Paris (EUR)
  • TASE — Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (ILS)

More European markets are on the roadmap.

Do you support multi-currency portfolios?

Yes. You can hold US, EU, and Israeli stocks in the same portfolio. Yields, totals, and income are shown in your chosen display currency, with FX handled automatically.

Will you add more markets?

Yes — additional markets are on the roadmap, including more European exchanges and selected markets in other regions. We add new ones based on user demand and data quality, so if there's a specific market that matters to you, tell us — popular requests move up the queue.

AI features

What is Smart Filter?

Describe the kind of stocks you're looking for in plain English — e.g. "moderate-risk dividend growers in healthcare with yield above 3%" — and Smart Filter converts that into a precise stock selection. No need to learn a query language or set 12 sliders manually.

What's in an AI Report?

Pick a company and a report type (Earnings, Strategy, Competitive, Risk, Valuation, etc.) and you get a structured, written analysis covering the relevant dimensions in seconds — drawing on the company's filings, scores, and current data. Reports are point-in-time research aids, not financial advice.

Do AI features cost extra?

Smart Filter is free — even though it's AI-powered, it doesn't consume tokens, so you can run as many natural-language filters as you want at no cost. AI Reports are the only feature that uses tokens; you buy small token packs when (and only when) you want to generate reports. Everything else — scores, portfolio, watchlists, dividend calendar, alerts — is free.

Do you store my prompts?

Smart Filter prompts are stored under your account so you can save and re-run filters. Report inputs are not retained beyond what's needed to generate the report. We never share your queries with anyone.

Are AI Reports shared between users?

Yes — and that's a deliberate design choice. When you generate an AI Report for a given stock and report type, it goes into a shared library so the next user who needs the same report can read it instantly, without paying for the AI run again. Likewise, when others generate, you benefit. It's a fair-use model that keeps token costs low for everyone.

Reports do regenerate periodically to reflect new earnings, dividend changes, and market conditions — so what you read is always anchored to recent reality, not a stale snapshot from months ago.

Pricing

How much does DividendsIQ cost?

The platform itself is free — registration, scores, portfolio tracking, watchlists, dividend calendar, alerts, and the Stock Research Hub are all included at no charge.

Only AI Reports use a pay-as-you-go token model. You buy tokens when you want to generate reports — no subscription, no monthly commitment. Smart Filter, despite being AI-powered, is free and unlimited.

How does the token model work?

Tokens are the in-app currency for AI Reports. Each report consumes a small number of tokens (the exact amount depends on report type). Your balance is shown in the app's Settings, and you can top up any time from the in-app store. Smart Filter does not consume tokens.

Token packages come in several sizes — buy more, pay less per token. Pricing is shown in your local currency (USD, EUR, or ILS) at checkout.

Is there a subscription?

No. Tokens are one-time purchases. They don't expire on you, and there's no recurring charge. If you stop using the app, you stop spending — full stop.

What is auto-buy?

An optional convenience: if your token balance drops below a threshold you set, the app can automatically purchase a top-up package using your saved card — so you never get stuck mid-session. It's off by default; you turn it on only if you want it.

Can I get a refund?

Unused token packages can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Tokens that have already been spent on AI Reports are non-refundable. Contact us for refund requests.

Privacy & security

Do you sell my data?

No. We don't sell, rent, or share your personal data, portfolio holdings, or queries with any third party. Full details in our Privacy Policy.

Where is my data stored?

On our own servers in EU data centers. Connections use TLS, passwords are hashed with bcrypt (we cannot read them), and database access is restricted to authorized team members.

Do you connect to my brokerage account?

No — DividendsIQ never asks for or stores your brokerage credentials. Portfolio holdings are entered manually (or imported via CSV). We can't move money or place trades; that's by design.

How do I delete my account?

From the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Or email dividendsiq@gmail.com from your registered address. All your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
